Aubhro Sengupta

I am a sophomore in Lynbrook High school in San Jose CA. I spend most of my time goofing off from boring things like homework, and instead spend that time coding. This can be confirmed by the unusually large number of commits to my GitHub repositories when I am supposed to be doing homework. I know Objective-C, Python, and Java, but I do play favorites with my languages, and Python is my favorite among the three. It's simplicity and user-friendliness allow me to shift my focus away from bulky and unnecessary syntax to the core logic of a program. I have been coding since middle school, and I have created a few iPhone apps. I always have a couple of pet projects I work on, as coding is my hobby. I tend to have more time for coding because I do not do any sports. This is because I have a rare physical condition called Kniest Dysplasia. (Link to wikipedia article: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kniest_dysplasia). This condition causes me to have hearing loss, vision loss, mobility issues, and a short stature. If you have never heard of the condition, then I would not be surprised as the article on wikipedia is shorter than I am. But all of those issues do not bother me, as all my friends also happen to be devout nerds who do nothing but study and code. I also ocaisonally play chess, play guitar, and swim (Its one of the few physical activities I can do).
